Created during a week retreat in West Virginia, a Series of Figures is the result of the opportunity to focus on small-scale art. The progression of the series took the subject from the very abstract shape to the twisted metal that is more easily recognized as the human figure.

Each sculpture is mounted with brass screws on a piece of antique flooring that was reclaimed for a new use. This artwork was designed to be place in a room where it can be viewed from many angles.
