| Series
of Figures

|
Created during a week
retreat in West Virginia, a Series of Figures is the result of
the opportunity to focus on small-scale art. The progression of the series took the
subject from the very abstract shape to the twisted metal that is more easily recognized
as the human figure. |

Each sculpture is mounted
with brass screws on a piece of antique flooring that was reclaimed for a new use. This
artwork was designed to be place in a room where it can be viewed from many angles.
