Torn Apart Heart was physically created from two 8' long by 8" wide and 1/8" thick steel welded together at one end. Then the pieces were twisted and bent with my own strength. But the spirit of Torn Apart Heart was from a painful change in my life. One may see two hearts that were once joined together with the bond of love that are now torn apart. Although both hearts are broken they will always be joined together forever. As you view this sculpture from different angles it does not appear as painful as from other views. As with any point in our lives each experience is different depending on where we stand now. This piece has been sold!
